11-12 NOVEMBER 2025

HIGHT-IMPACT SUMMIT

This summit brings together leading voices in marine conservation, innovators and changemakers to share knowledge, spark collaboration, and build practical solutions to the crisis of marine litter.

Across keynote talks, workshops, and panel discussions, we’ll connect ideas with action, from tackling beach waste to rethinking ghost gear, from policy shifts to community art.

This isn’t just another conference. It’s the start of a wave, one that begins here with you, together, and carries forward across Scotland, the UK, and beyond

A Collective Force for Change

We’ll be in excellent company, joining forces with carefully selected stakeholders to pool our knowledge, resources, and passion. Together, we’ll create actionable solutions for marine conservation and drive innovation in addressing the critical challenges our ocean faces.

A note on our values

Captain Paul Watson foundation UK is committed to protecting ocean wildlife and will serve 100% plant-based meals at this event.

As a marine conservation charity focused on anti-poaching efforts, we ensure that donations are never used to purchase animal products for our fleet, land campaigns or events. We welcome volunteers from all dietary backgrounds however, recognising that our strength lies in inclusivity.

The decision to solely offer plant-based meals reflects our commitment to ocean conservation, as animal agriculture significantly contributes to marine pollution, including toxic algal blooms and ocean dead zones. Additionally, intensive fish farming pollutes waters, harming wild marine life.

“We are literally eating the oceans alive and there are simply not enough fish to continue to feed an ever expanding population of humanity.”
